HAWKS HEAD INTO POST SEASON ON HEELS OF BACK TO BACK LOSSES
WELLAND, ON: The Humber Hawks men's basketball team have already punched their ticket to the playoffs, but will enter the post season event scheduled for the Humber Athletic Centre on the heels of losing its last two regular season games. The latest was a 78-71 road loss to the Niagara Knights.
With the loss the Hawks fall to 13-5, and need a Redeemer upset of Mohawk on Saturday if they wish to hold on to the number two spot in the West Division standings.
The game was a back and forth affair that saw the Knights overtake a slim Hawk lead late in the game.
