The Athletics Communications Office is responsible for the publicity and promotion of Humber’s 20-sport varsity athletic program. The office maintains the official department website (www.humberhawks.ca), serves as the liaison between the department and the local and national media, uses social media and multimedia to promote Humber’s teams and student-athletes, and keeps statistical and archival information for Humber’s varsity programs. We also manage the process of nominating student-athletes for awards offered by the OCAA and the CCAA.
It’s our goal to provide accurate, timely, relevant information about each of our sports, coaches, staff, student-athletes and athletic department initiatives in various media.
INTERVIEW REQUESTS
All requests to speak with Humber players, coaches and staff should be directed to the athletic communications staff.
CREDENTIALS
Arrangements for media credentials for Humber home games must be made through the Humber athletic communications office. Credentials are required for anyone who wishes to cover any Humber Athletics home games. Requests must be made no later than 24 hours prior to game time or the request will be denied. More information regarding credentials can be found in the Humber Athletics Media Credential Policy.
To request media credentials for all Humber home events, complete the Humber Athletics Credential Request Form.
