REIGNING NATIONAL CHAMPIONS ANNOUNCE THE ADDITION OF C.J. BENNETT

Coming off the Program's sixth National Championship, the Humber Hawks Men's Basketball Team announced the addition of 6'3" Brampton native C.J. Bennett. He joins a back-court that includes CCAA Championship All-Star Gibson Eduful and OCAA Championship All-Star Junior Davis, one that should again be among the countries best.

Bennett played his High School Basketball at St. Edmund Campion where he led the team to an AAAA OFSAA Silver Medal. His accomplishments also include being name Mr. Peel Basketball, MVP of both the Rimrocker and George Brown Tournaments and an All-Star at St. Michael's Tournament.  The guard played club ball for the Brampton Warriors and his passion for the game began twelve years ago in house league.

Bennett's greatest strength is his ability to attack the basket and lock-down defensively, and he will be looking to improve his jump shot and core strength. C.J. plans on making an immediate impact at Humber, and has his sights set on winning Rookie of the Year. Off the court, he is enrolled in the Sport Management Program and looks forward to the opportunity to excel academically.

The Hawks are looking to become the first program to win back-to-back National Titles in seventeen years, with Bennett's addition bolstering an already impressive roster.
