DICKSON SURPASSES 34-YEAR-OLD HUMBER BASKETBALL RECORD

ETOBICOKE, ONT -- Tyrone Dickson (Scarborough) continues his march to rewrite the Humber Hawks record books.  The six-foot-six forward already owns the Humber records for most rebounds (667) and most blocked shots (153).  On Wednesday evening against the Redeemer Royals, he moved up the Hawks' all-time scoring list.

With his 12-point performance in front of a large home crowd at the Humber Athletic Centre, Dickson surpassed Clyde Walters (763) to move into third place all-time in scoring with 769 career points.  Walters played in 88 regular season games for the Hawks from 1978-1983.

He now trails Hall of Famers Patrick Rhodd (1,164) and George McNeil (1,148) on the all-time list.

Dickson came into the game tied with Henry Frazer with 757 career points and is currently one of five players in the OCAA averaging a double-double this season.
