HAWKS EXPLODE IN 2ND HALF ON WAY TO 21 POINT ROAD WIN

WINDSOR, ON: The Humber Hawks men's basketball team poured in 53 second half points on their way to an 85-64 win over St. Clair in Windsor on Saturday evening. With the win, the Hawks record improves to 11-4.

As the regular season winds down, any results from here on in are meaningless with regards to the Hawks final spot in the West Division standings, as they will finish in third and host a crossover playoff game next Saturday night at 6:00 pm, at the Humber Athletic Centre. On the other side of the ball, the Saints are battling to find their final resting spot in the West Division standings.

Humber ran out to a quick lead after the first ten minutes of play, and led by a score of 19-14. The second quarter was all Saints, as they dominated in every aspect of play, taking the quarter 25-13 and lead the visiting Hawks by seven at the break.

The second half was total Humber Hawks domination. They outscored St. Clair 53-25 in the last two quarters, on their way to the 21 point win.

Ancil Martin led Humber on the night, with an eighteen point effort. Tyrone Dickson and Gibson Eduful dropped 14 points each in support of Martin.

Humber will now complete the regular season on Sunday afternoon in Sarnia, as they will play the Lambton Lions.
