HAWKS BASKETBALL BEGINS PRESEASON VS WESTERN
LONDON, ON: The Humber men's basketball team will open their preseason in London, Ontario when they face the Western Mustangs on Sunday, October 2.
Coming in second place in the CCAA national championship tournament last year, the Hawks are determined to reclaim their once gold glory. Winning first place in the 2014-15 season and winning silver in 2015-16, Humber is hungry for redemption.
With a lineup of preseason exhibition games, the Hawks' first matchup is against CIS Western Mustangs. The Mustangs will be a challenge for Humber as they previously claimed the number two spot in the 2015-16 OUA western division, just five points shy of first.
Tipoff is at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, October 2 at Western University in London, Ontario.
The Hawks begin their quest for redemption on October 26 when they open their OCAA season against the Fanshawe Falcons on home court.
