SAINTS IN ETOBICOKE SUNDAY

ETOBICOKE, ONT: The Humber Hawks (3-2, 6th West) continue their home stand Sunday afternoon when the St. Clair Saints (4-3, 4th West) arrive at the Humber Athletic Centre for their first meeting of the 2016-17 OCAA season.

Both teams will be playing on back-to-back days, with Humber hosting Lambton (0-4, 8th West) Saturday afternoon, while the Saints are at no. 2 Sheridan (5-0, 1st West) on Saturday evening.

After starting the season with four consecutive wins, the Saints have hit the hardest portion of their schedule, losing three straight against perennial powerhouses Fanshawe (4-3, 5th West), Mohawk (4-2, 3rd West) and no. 6 Niagara (4-1, 2nd West).

Last season, these two teams split the season series, both winning at home.  The Saints scratched by in their first meeting last season, coming away with an 90-87 win in overtime at the SportsPlex.  Gibson Eduful (Toronto) had a full stat line for Humber in the loss, finishing with 19 points, nine rebounds, four assists, and six steals.  The Saint that did the most damage against Humber in that game is now a Hawk and leading the team in three-point shooting this season.  Trevon Mollison (Brampton) scored a career-high 27 points in the win against Humber.

All Hawks home games are free to the public and also streamed live online.  If you are unable to attend Sunday's game against St. Clair, scroll down to the bottom of the home page and click on the "WATCH NOW" link or click here.
