ETOBICOKE, Ont. -- The no. 1 Humber Hawks (14-0, 1st West) will host their final home games of the regular season this weekend when the Cambrian Golden Shield (1-15, 10th West) visit the Humber Athletic Centre for a weekend doubleheader.
LAST TIME OUT vs CAMBRIAN
These two teams will meet for the first time this season when the Golden Shield makes the 383 kilometer trip from Sudbury. Last year at Cambrian, the Hawks swept the series, including a 120-43 win in their final meeting. Humber had eight student-athletes finish with at least 10 points, including a game-high 21 points from Ceejay Nofuente in 20 minutes of action.
SENIORS NIGHT
Sunday marks the final regular season home game for two Humber student-athletes. Chioma Oriuwa and Atissa Cronk are both in their fifth and final season with Humber. Last year, these student-athletes were part of the first OCAA women's basketball program to ever win a national championship.
STREAKING
- The Hawks have won an OCAA record 38 consecutive CCAA regular and postseason games.
- Humber has also won 51 consecutive OCAA regular and postseason games, the second longest streak in conference history. The Algonquin Thunder won 67 consecutive OCAA games from November 5, 2011 until January 15, 2015.

- Averaging 78.6 ppg, the Hawks are leading the league in scoring.
- Humber has won 28 consecutive OCAA home games – last loss was January 2014 to Mohawk College.
- Ceejay Nofuente is currently leading the CCAA in total assists (106) and steals (87). She is also fourth in scoring average with 22.2 ppg.
- All-time, the Hawks are 10-0 against Cambrian, dating back to their first meeting during the 1979-80 season.
SCOUTING CAMBRIAN
- The Golden Shield are in the midst of an eight game losing streak.
- Cambrian's only win this season was a two point victory at home over Sheridan (2-14, 8th West).
- Both Taylor Caverley-Grasby and Megan Desormeaux are on the verge of scoring 200 points this season.
HAWKS HISTORY
- After establishing new OCAA single game records for points (55) and three-pointers made (13) earlier this year, Ceejay Nofuente also became the program's all-time leading scorer.
- Aleena Domingo is now the fifth Humber women's basketball player to score 700-plus points in a career.
- Head coach Ajay Sharma became the third women's coach to surpass 100 career wins and currently sits at 106 wins and 21 losses.
