AMBER BECHARD: REPORTING FROM BARCELONA, SPAIN
Hola!
After a long night of traveling and a successful day settling into our Barcelona home for the week, we started off our day with an intense early morning practice. The facility we practiced in was very nice but the temperature inside the gym was extremely HOT.
Everyone is really friendly and helpful, especially our tour guide Oscar. He took us to the beach today on the public transit bus. It gave us an opportunity to see some of the downtown core while on the way. We will definitely be exploring the shopping area when we get a chance!
The beach was beautiful. It is incredible to have such a luxury right in a major city, and the people of Barcelona don't take it for granted as it was packed all day!
