HAWKS LOOK TO WEATHER FORECAST FOR HELP ON WEDNESDAY

AURORA, ON: The Humber Hawks and Seneca Sting have struggled mightily this year when trying to complete a regular scheduled game night. The first two at Humber were rained out, and the last one at Seneca suffered the same fate.

On Tuesday night, the two teams will attempt to take to the diamond in hopes of completing the series of games on Sting soil. Humber took the first by a score of 6-3 at Bishops Cross Park in Toronto, but based on the availability of park permits, will play the second at Stewart Burnett Park in Aurora. The first pitch is slated for 7:00 pm.

As mentioned earlier, they Hawks took a 6-3 decision, and the three run win was as tight as the score indicated. Humber was able to get into a lead, and although the host Sting chipped away, they were unable to even the score.

Seneca enters the game with a record of 2-7, while Humber checks in at 7-6. Should the Sting wish to get back into the play-off conversation, a win is crucial. The Hawks are in a good spot, and wins against teams lower than them in the standings would possibly give them a play-off home game.

Both teams boast a number of players batting over .300 on the season. Humber places three pitchers in the top eight of the ERA race, while Seneca has an ace of their own in Mathew Chow.
