HAWKS OPEN 2015 SEASON ON ROAD VERSUS GEORGE BROWN

HAWKS OPEN 2015 SEASON ON ROAD VERSUS GEORGE BROWN

TORONTO, Ontario: The Humber Hawks, after an extensive pre-season that saw them play a number of top OUA and New York based teams, will open the 2015 season on the road at Wishing Well Park in Toronto, against the George Brown Huskies.

The Hawks swept the season series against the Huskies last year, on their way to a second place finish in the division. The Huskies were unable to return to the OCAA play-offs, and finished in fifth spot in the six team loop.

Humber boasts a newly stocked pitching staff, one which is perhaps the most skilled and talented in their history. On the offensive side, they have a number of key veterans returning, led by All Stars Sean Matson and Daniel Campos.

George Brown has not only revamped their lineup, they have installed new leadership. They will look to have this fresh start push them in a positive direction and possibly a play-off run.

The first game is slated for 7:00 pm, with the nightcap to begin at 9:00 pm.
