Strong communication between all of the team members was clear as they fired off kill after kill lighting up the score board. Boreal, try as they may, were no match for Humber's superior players. As the set progressed the team quickly fell further and further behind. The set ended after just 15 minutes of game play with the Hawks dominating the Vipèrs winning by an astounding 25-8.

The second set was a tense back and forth match, far different from the clear domination in the first set. Boreal returned to the court more determined than ever and it showed in their performance. Humber started strong scoring the first two kills in mere seconds. Boreal managed to tie up the score and for the first time in this match, take the lead. The Vipers were able to tie up the score twice more before the Hawks found their footing, widening the gap, and winning the set 25-16.

The pressure was on in the final set of the game. Winning this set was Boreal's last chance for a set victory. Desperate to break their nine game losing streak, the Vipèrs took to the court with a renewed energy and determination, fighting hard to extend the match. The yet undefeated Hawks fought off their opponent's advances with energy and confidence. The match started off tense with back and forth scoring from each team. Humber, feeling the pressure, doubled their efforts widening the point margin between the two teams. Hawks outside hitter Brooke Kinnaird served the final points of the match, winning the set 25-11 and the game 3-0.

This win puts the Hawks to sole possession of first place. With a record of 9-0, they are the only undefeated team left in the league. Boreal's loss in this game marks the tenth consecutive loss this season, with the team not managing a single win.
