HAWKS MEN'S AND WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL SCHEDULES RELEASED
The 2015 schedule has been released for Humber's Men's and Women's Volleyball teams. Both teams will open on Saturday, September 24 at Sheridan and play their home openers on Thursday, September 29 against Redeemer.
The Men's Team is coming off a 13-5 season that saw them win forty-six sets against just twenty-four losses. The blue and gold had a pair of Academic All-Stars in Aleks Inveiss and Matthew Isaacs, and saw Terrel Bramwell set all-time OCAA records in both kills and points. Humber heads into 2015 in search of their fourth Provincial Title in seven years, and have medalled nationally twice in the past six years.
The Women's Team will be looking for a ninth consecutive Provincial Championship this year, and have not lost an OCAA game in over four seasons. OCAA Player of the Year and First Team All-Star Thalia Hanniman will be leading a Humber squad that also returns Rookie of the Year Brittany Vanderlaan and All-Star Alley Newman. In 2014 the Hawks won fifty-four sets against just nine dropped, and had just one match go five sets all year.
