OAKVILLE, ON: After a long preseason the Hawks finally get in the swing of things in the OCAA with their season opener this Saturday at Sheridan.
Humber's Peel Region Rival finished last season with a 12-6 record in contrast to Humber's spotless 18-0 season and eighth OCAA Championship. During the season the Bruins maintained a strong winning percentage despite the Hawks being the only team to consistently defeat Sheridan until the home stretch of the season.
Humber only lost nine sets last season and have still retained key pieces of their offence in outside hitters Thalia Hanniman and Kelsey Kovar, one of the most threatening left side hitting duo in the league.
