HAWKS BACK ON COURT SUNDAY AFTER BEST GAME OF SEASON

WINDSOR, ON: The Humber Hawks women's volleyball team, fresh off their best effort of the season on Thursday night at home against the Niagara, will travel to Windsor for a Sunday afternoon match with the St. Clair Saints.

The Hawks entertained the 5-1 Knights and quickly dispatched them in three straight, by scores of 25-16, 25-17 and 25-16. Humber, although extremely undermanned with four key players on the sidelines, put forth their best effort on the season. With the win, the Hawks improved their record to 6-0.

St. Clair enters the game with a respectable mark of 3-3 on the year. They are 2-1 on their home court in Windsor.

Statistically speaking, Humber's Thalia Hanniman has quickly reclaimed her spot on the top perch of the OCAA individual point's standings. The 2015 OCAA Player of the Year is having a better year than last year, checking in with a mark of 4.8 points per set. St. Clair's Shalena Horst is ranked eleventh, with a terrific average of 3.4 pps.

This is a key match-up, one that St. Clair would dearly like to win to push them into early play-off conversation. A win for the Hawks would help them create more distance between them and the contenders in the West Division.

The game is set for 1:00 pm start, from the St. Clair Athletic Centre.
