HAWKS TAKE SIX GAME WIN STREAK ON THE ROAD

HAWKS TAKE SIX GAME WIN STREAK ON THE ROAD

ETOBICOKE, ON: As the last remaining undefeated team in the OCAA West Division, the Humber Hawks will head out on the road Thursday night and put their streak on the line against the Sheridan Bruins.  As the top ranked program in the province, fourth in the country, the Hawks can be sure the Bruins will bring everything they have to dethrone the reigning OCAA Champions.

Humber's six-game winning streak to begin the season is their longest since 2013, a season that saw the Hawks finish first in the West with a 16-2 record.  The Hawks have won three straight games against the Bruins, with their last loss occurring in November of 2013.

The last time these two teams met, Humber dominated the Bruins and cruised their way to an easy 71-36 win.  OCAA all-star Ceejay Nofuente recorded a season-high 21 points with five rebounds, four assists, and three steals.  Dainique Campbell paced Sheridan offensively in the loss, recording a team-high 13 points.

The Bruins are currently eighth in the standings with a 2-4 record, however both of their wins have come at home.  Sheridan is coming off a home loss to the Niagara Knights 66-36 and failed to record 40 points in a game for the third time this season.
