HAWKS IN CONTROL ALL THE WAY TO 67-53 ROAD WIN

LONDON, Ont. - The Humber Hawks women's basketball team defeated the Fanshawe Falcons by a score of 67-53 at the Glenn Johnston Athletic Centre in London on Saturday afternoon.

The two teams struggled to score in the beginning of the game, as Humber took an early 7-2 lead. Fanshawe battled hard and kept the Hawks off the glass, however Humber had a 16-8 advantage after the first quarter.

Humber player CeeJay Nofuente was on fire. Nofuente contributed points from both behind the arc, as well as the foul line. At half, the score was 33-25 in favour of the Hawks.

With a solid half time lead, the Hawks tacked on and moved to a twenty point margin and rode this big lead the rest of the way.

Humber's record moves to a perfect, and division best 5-0.

 On Friday, Nov. 13, the Hawks will travel to Hamilton, to face the Mohawk Mountaineers in a rematch of the 2015 OCAA title game. The tip is set for 6 p.m.
