HAWKS LOOK TO EXTEND WIN STREAK AGAINST MOHAWK

The CCAA's fourth ranked team will be back in action on November 14th when the Hawks head to Hamilton to battle the Mohawk Mountaineers.  As the single undefeated team remaining in the OCAA West Division, the Hawks can be sure that each team will be looking to put a blemish in their record.

The Hawks swept the season series against the Mountaineers last season and their last loss to Mohawk was in February 2014, when Mohawk came away with the upset in the OCAA championship semi-final game.  The last time these two teams played at the Mohawk Athletic Centre, the Hawks left victorious after a 67-53 win.  Thornhill native Natalie Hagopian finished with a season-high 17 points, while Mohawk's Brittany Gazzola led the Mountaineers with 16 points.

After winning their first two games to start the season, the Mountaineers lost their home opener and now have a 2-1 record and are ranked as the eighth best team in the province.  Their only loss came to the St. Clair Saints, a team Humber previously beat by 20 points.

The Hawks are coming off an easy road win over the Fanshawe Falcons, as third-year guard Ceejay Nofuente led Humber to a 67-53 win.  The Toronto native set the bar high in this contest, establishing season-highs in points (25) and rebounds (16).
