HAWKS STILL HAVE EYE ON NATIONAL BRONZE
GRANDE PRAIRIE, AL: The Humber Hawks played brilliantly in a championship final last night, and now have to regroup to take a run at the 2018 CCAA Women's Volleyball bronze medal.
Humber will face MSVU on Saturday afternoon in the bronze medal semi-final. The game time is set for 2:00 pm (EST).
The Hawks arrived in the bronze semi-final by way of a quarterfinal win over FX Garneau, and then the semi loss last night versus the top ranked Douglas Royals. MSVU dropped their openner to the defending champs from Lakeland, and then defeated the Quebec champs in the bronze quarter-final.
The two teams have played many times over the years, with Humber holding a slim edge.
