
CANADA SOCCER NAMES TWO FORMER HAWKS TO FUTSAL ROSTER
ETOBICOKE, ON: On Wednesday afternoon, Canada Soccer named their 14-player roster for the upcoming CONCACAF futsal qualification match and two former Humber Hawks have made the squad.
Jacob Orellana (Toronto) and Daniel Chamale (Toronto), both of whom won a national championship with Humber in 2013, will be on the roster when the national team plays the USA in next week's play-in matches for the 2016 CONCACAF Futsal Championship. The two matches are scheduled for May 4 -5 and Canada must win to become one of the final eight nations at the championship.
Should Canada advance, they will join Group B which includes Costa Rica, Curacao, and Cuba. The opposite Group A features Guatemala, Mexico, Panama, and the winner of the Honduras/Trinidad and Tobago play-in series.
