HAWKS ADVANCE TO OCAA CHAMPIONSHIP GAME ON SATURDAY
NIAGARA FALLS: The Humber Hawks men's soccer team, defending "Back-to Back" CCAA National Champions, are one step closer to competing for a third national title as they have advanced to the 2014 OCAA Championship Gold Medal game on Saturday by defeating the Durham Lords by a score of 2-0.
With the win the Hawks will play the Algonquin Thunder on Saturday afternoon at 2:00 pm
Jordan Piccanin scored in the 50th minute to give Humber a 1-0 lead, then Jesse Assing sealed the deal by scoring in the 86th minute. Keeper of the Year Alex Pothemont kept it clean for the shut-out.
