HAWKS CAN MOVE CLOSER TO CLINCHING DIVISION TITLE

ETOBICOKE, ON: The Humber Hawks, currently entrenched in first place in the Central Division, by way of their seven point lead over the second place Sheridan Bruins, will be able to inch closer to the divisional crown with a win Tuesday night at home.

The Hawks host the newly formed University of Toronto – Mississauga Eagles at Centennial Park, with a kick-off slated for 4:30 pm.

The Eagles, as mentioned above, are in their first season of OCAA play. They have been more than respectable, checking in with a record of 2-4-1 and are in the mix for a play-off spot. A win here would catapult them forward.

The two teams have met once this year, a game at UTM where the Hawks had to battle all the way to get a 3-1 victory.

Nolan Anderson leads the Eagles in scoring with three tallies. Scoring has not been an issue for UTM, as they are second in scoring in the Central, with eight markers.

Humber leads the entire league in goals, with twenty five in just six games. The key is that the scoring is spread around the entire squad. Twelve different players have scored, with Jaineil Hoilett leading the way with four.

The game will be streamed live by BRTV.
