ETOBICOKE, ON:  Game two of the 2015 OCAA men's soccer championship saw the host team Humber Hawks take on the Fleming Knights.  With the temperature dropping, these two teams came out aggressive, vying for an early lead.

Winners of the ultra-competitive central division, the Hawks were ranked as the best team in the province headed into this contest and played true to the rankings.  In the fifth minute, Humber scored on a free kick by Joshua Paredes-Procter to take an early 1-0 lead.  For Paredes-Proctor, it was his fourth goal of the year.

Not fazed by the early deficit, Fleming jumped on the offensive, attacking in the Humber zone.  Receiving their first free kick of the game, the Knights scored the equalizer in the 15th minute.  Taking the free kick for Fleming was Joyal Gurung, who kicked a beautiful curling cross through the box, setting up Jaiden Miller-Foster for the easy finish.

With the game tied at one, the Hawks put on some pressure of their own.  The league's highest scoring team scored two goals within one minute to take a 3-1 league.  Humber's Michael Aigbokie buried in the 25th minute, followed by Jesse Assing in the 26th minute.

At half, the Hawks outshot the Knights 5-1.

Humber's 2015 CCAA All-Canadian Jaineil Hoilett began the second-half putting the pressure on the Knights defence.  Hoilett had multiple chances throughout the game however he was unable to find the back of the net.

In the 62nd minute, the Knights came within inches of bringing the score within one but Hawks goalkeeper Alexander Pothemont had other ideas.  Looking for his second goal of the match, Miller-Foster was in all alone and shot low but Pothemont made a kick save.

With time running out in the match, the Hawks committed a foul and gave Fleming a penalty kick.  Miller-Foster stepped to the line for Fleming and this time beat Pothemeont low and to his left.

Fleming attempted to score one more but unfortunately time ran out for the Knights.  The Hawks held on to win 3-2 and now advance to the next round tomorrow to play the Fanshawe Falcons at 3:30pm.  Fleming now moves on to the consolation round tomorrow and will play College at 9:30pm.

Michael Aigbokie and Jaiden Miller-Foster were each named players of the game.
