HAWKS KEEPER EUGENIO GARRO NAMED OCAA AOTW
Third-year goalkeeper Eugenio Garro (Woodbridge) was named OCAA athlete of the week for his role in leading Humber to a third Canadian title in four seasons. Garro did not allow a goal during the competition, and in the goal medal match that was settled with penalty kicks, came up with a spectacular save that ultimately allowed Humber to win the title.
Garro's elite tournament play earned him the tournaments Most Valuable Player award, the second time in his career he has received such honours.
