MAGNO & ROBERTS NAMED AS OCAA MEN’S SOCCER ALL-STARS
NIAGARA FALLS, Ontario: The Humber Hawks men's soccer team snared a number of OCAA men's soccer awards at the 2014 OCAA Men's Soccer Final Four Championship Banquet.
Highlights included Dominic Roberts being named an OCAA All-Star for the second year in a row, and last year's OCAA Championship MVP Gerardo Magno grabbing his first OCAA All-Star nod.
The Humber men's team, by way of their undefeated season, were honoured as the West Division champions.
The Hawks also were recognized for their defensive prowess, as they were named the West Division Best Defensive Team. Along with the team honour, Keeper Alex Pothemont was named West Best Keeper and Kingsley Boasiako won the West Defensive Player of the Year award.
