HAWKS TO FACE NEWCOMER U OF T - MISSISSAUGA

Hawks look to stay undefeated against UTM

The Humber Hawks Mens soccer team looks to continue their hot start to their season when they take on the University of Toronto Mississauga for the first time.

This is the first meeting between the two schools in the OCAA as UTM was a new addition this season.

Both teams come into this matchup well rested as both teams last games were played earlier in the week.

UTM earned their first victory in the OCAA Tuesday night after they dumped the Seneca Sting by a score of 3-1.

The Hawks are coming off a 1-0 victory after defeating the Sheridan Bruins in round one of the OCAA El Classico

Humber comes into this game sitting in first place in the central division after starting their season 3-0-0. They have only allowed two goals over three games and they were both conceded in a 5-2 victory over Seneca.

UTM sits in third place with a 1-1-1 record and a few points behind second place Niagara who the Hawks will play on Tuesday.

The key to success for the Hawks is having a roster full of very experienced players who have all played at very competitive levels. No matter who the coaches turn to the will get quality.

The teams ability to move the ball around in the midfield which is anchored by veterans Gerardo Magno and Joshua Paredes-Procter is outstanding and has been a large key to their success thus far.

Another key to success has been the teams back line that features 2012 OCAA Rookie of the Year Kingsley Bosaikoand team captain Dominic Roberts.

Kick-off is at 3:15 P.M.ET.
