HAWKS BATTLE CAPILANO FOR CCAA NATIONAL TITLE ON SATURDAY

HAWKS BATTLE CAPILANO FOR CCAA NATIONAL TITLE ON SATURDAY

MONTREAL, QC: The Humber Hawks men's soccer team, winners of two of the last three CCAA National Championships, will vie for their third in four years on Saturday afternoon against British Columbia's Capilano College. Kick off, from Seaway Park in St. Lambert, is set for 2:30 pm.

The top seeded Hawks advanced to the final by wins over host Champlain St. Lambert in the quarter-final (6-0), and fellow OCAA member Algonquin College in the semi-final (1-0). Capilano, the number three seed, defeated Holland in the opener (3-2) and then Kwantlen in their semi (5-1).

Capilano's last podium finish was 2008, as they captured fifth CCAA crown. Should the Hawks win, they would match the Blues with the fifth title of their own.
