LAST TIME OUT VS ST. CLAIR

To say the Hawks struggled mightily in a first semester 3-0 (25-22, 25-22, 25-22) loss to the Saints may not be true, but a straight win sweep is a convincing way to lose. At that point, Humber was in the middle of a four game losing streak, and were unable to find their game, even on home court. Clayton Blanchette, the league leading scorer for the Hawks, was silenced for most of the day and checked in with a season low 11 points. Robert carter led the saints, with 13 points.

SCOUTING ST. CLAIR

  • After losing four in a row through late November and early December, St. Clair has ping ponged victories and losses, but are coming off a 3-1 win over Niagara last weekend
  • Team blocking is a strength for the Saints, as they currently rank 4th in blocks per set (2.44) and 6th in total blocks (105)
  • Five Saints score at a rate of between 2.0 and 3.0 points per set, led by Alex Vukovic and his mark of 3.0 pps
