The first set saw the Bruins run out to an early three point lead, but after the Hawks got even the set ping-ponged back and forth right to the 15 point mark. With Sheridan coming back, a missed serve put the score at 22-19, Hawks. In the best rally of the game, the Hawks won the point to move the score to 24-19. A huge block on the next rally ended the set. Hawks win 25-19.

The third set saw the Hawks lead at the 10 point mark, forcing the Bruins to have to come from behind if they wanted to extend the match. The Bruins turned the set around by going on the biggest run of the set, and led 15-12. Humber could not respond, and the Bruins put the set away, winning 25-20.

The fourth and final set was all Humber. They led early and extended the lead until they had a 21-8 lead, on their way to a dominating 25-11 win. The game ended on a booming kill by the Hawks Adam Kinoshita.
