UNBEATEN HAWKS TO PLAY DEFENDING CHAMPS ON SATURDAY

LONDON, ON: The Humber Hawks men's volleyball team, will look to build on its perfect 5-0 regular season record this Saturday afternoon in London, as they will battle the Fanshawe Falcons. The first serve is set for 3:00 pm, from the Fanshawe College Athletic Centre.

The Hawks are flying after an impressive 3-1 road win over last year's OCAA silver medalist Niagara Knights. Fanshawe, as mentioned above, are the defending OCAA champions. They are off to a soaring start themselves, with just a single loss in their first seven games. These two teams have played each other once this year, with Fanshawe coming out on top with a 3-2 win at the Seneca Invitational.

Humber continues to be led by a veteran duo. Clayton Blanchette and Alex Gibbs have been dominating at times from their outside hitter positions. But, perhaps the key to the Hawks success is an even more veteran-veteran. Setter Adam Kinoshita has been both spectacular and a leader this season. Going back many years, he was a member of the Hawks 2004 OCAA championship squad.

James Jackson jumps off the page when looking at the Falcons individual offensive numbers. He is currently scoring at a pace of 4.5 points per set.
