SURPRISING HAWKS HIT THE ROAD FOR BATTLE IN WELLAND

WELLAND, ON: The young Humber Hawks, who have turned some heads early in the season by way of their 4-0 record, will head to Welland on Wednesday night to face the tough Niagara Knights.

Niagara is off to a slow start, but their 2-3 record may not be as weak as one would think, as they have played all of the teams considered in the upper echelon of the OCAA West Division.

Clayton Blanchette and Alex Gibbs have been the brightest of the bright spots on the Humber roster, and lead the squad with point per set averages of 5.5 and 4.0, respectively. Jeff Scott, at 4.5 pps, leads the Knights.

Game time is set for 8:00 pm.
