MARCOS NUNES - MALE ATHLETE OF THE YEAR
ETOBICOKE, ON: After an incredible season, Marcos Nunes joined Humber Hall of Famers Luigi Della Rovere and Andrew DaSilva as the only Humber Hawks to win the CCAA National Player of the Year award. After scoring nine goals in ten games, Nunes became the first Hawk to lead the conference in scoring in over a decade.
His torrid scoring pace continued throughout the postseason, as his seven goals in six matches helped Humber win back-to-back national titles and sixth in program history.
In nine career CCAA games, the Hawks have never lost with Nunes in the lineup, as the star striker averages one goal per match on the national stage.
