HAWKS FACE TOUGH TEST WITH NIAGARA ON TUESDAY

The defending national champions will look to continue their good start to the season Tuesday night when they host the Niagara College Knights.

The Hawks have enjoyed a 2-0 start to the regular season thus far but there is still a long way to go if they want to repeat as Canadian National Champions.

Humber has done a great job so far this season in controlling the pace of play although it has only been two games. The Hawks sit at the top of the standings in the central division with six points tied for first with George Brown a team they defeated in the first game of the season.

The Hawks will take on Niagara Tuesday night, a team they swept last year but took them down to the wire in both games.

Niagara has always played Humber tough regardless if they've won or not. The last time Niagara beat Humber was during the 2013-2014 season. Humber went on to win the national title that year.

The Knights are currently 1-1 so far sitting just three points back of the first place Hawks.

The Hawks will look to keep things simple in their play. The team does a great job at keeping the ball moving on the pitch making it harder on their opponents to truly get set.

Along with great ball movement, the team is full of great players whether it is in their staring 11 or coming off of the bench.

Leading the way offensively so far is Marcos Nunes and Patrick Majcher who have both found the back of the net twice in two games.

Along with a great attack Humber is just as good on the back end whether it is in the midfield anchored by fifth-year Gerardo Magno, or on the backline with fourth-year defender Kingsley Boasiako

Kick off is at 6:30 p.m., from Centennial Park Stadium in central Etobicoke.
