HAWKS LOOK TO REMAIN ON TOP IN NIAGARA

WELLAND, ON: The Humber men's soccer team (5-0, 1st OCAA Central Division) is travelling to Welland, Ontario to take on the Niagara Knights (1-2-1, 4th OCAA Central Division) for the second time this season.

During their first match-up, Humber came out on top with a 2-1 victory, but not without a fight from the knights. Up 2-0 early on, the Hawks kept the energy high and produced and abundance of scoring opportunities. Managing to maintain momentum forward, Niagara kept Humber on their toes with multiple penetrating balls through the defensive third. Then late in the first half, the Knights were awarded a penalty shot, the team's only goal of the match.

A fairly even amount of possession was held between the two teams throughout the game, however, the Hawks out shot Niagara 29-12 by the blow of the last whistle.

This Saturday, the Hawks will look to continue their mastery with another win to maintain their perfect season record.

The men kick off at 4:00 p.m. at Youngs Sportsplex in Welland, Ontario on Saturday, October 1.
