HAWKS HOST SHERIDAN TUESDAY AT CENTENNIAL STADIUM

ETOBICOKE, ON: The Humber Hawks men's soccer team, currently undefeated at 6-0 and ranked number one in the country, will take on a formidable foe in the Sheridan Bruins on Tuesday afternoon at Centennial Park Stadium.

Kick-off is slated for 4:30 pm.

The Hawks not only lead the Central Division with their record, they lead the entire OCAA in goals for (25) and least goals against (2). Sheridan checks just above the .500 mark, with a record of 3-2-1. Their only two losses have come at the hands of the second place George Brown Huskies. They also hover around the 50/50 mark in goals for (7) and goals against (6).

Former CCAA Championship MVP and two-time national champion Marcos Nunes has returned, and has instantly become one of the most dangerous goal scorers in the league. His six goals lead the Hawks, but 2015 All Canadian Jaineil Hoilett and striker Patrick Majcher are close behind, with four each.

Nicolas Meija is the go-to player on the Bruins, as he has carried the bulk of the offence, with five Sheridan's seven goals.

If history has anything to do with it, this game will be tight and hotly contested throughout. The Hawks will be looking to keep their hold on their placement and ranking, while the Bruins want to be the team to knock off the defending national champs.
