HAWKS MEN LOOK TO KEEP PERFECT RECORD INTACT ON SUNDAY

MISSISSAUGA, ON: The Humber Hawks men's soccer team, winners of their home opener on Tuesday night, will travel to Mississauga on Sunday, September 18/16 to face the University of Toronto - Mississauga Eagles.

Full Preview: By Eugenio Garro

The Humber Hawks men's team got off to a winning start Tuesday night, but now they look to carry that momentum into Sunday's match against the University of Toronto-Mississauga.

Humber was able to open the season with a 4-1 victory over the George Brown Huskies thanks to two goals from second-year forward Patrick Majcher

As for UTM, the team dropped their opening match by a final score of 2-nil to the Niagara Knights.

Last season against UTM, Humber won both matchups by a combined score of 12-2, a score line that didn't reflect who UTM really was.

It was UTM's first season in the OCAA last season and the men's team managed to squeak into the playoffs and go on a bit of a run. They are a hardworking team who knows how to get under their opponents skin.

The two sides built a small rivalry in the two matches they played against each other. Both teams went hard into tackles for the full 90 minutes, and that rivalry continued into indoor when a small scrum ensued at the end of one of the matches.

Humber will look to start the season on a two-game winning skid, something very important for the defending national champs who's roster changed a lot since last year.

Kick off is at 3:15 at UTM's North Field.
