OAKVILLE, ON: The Hawks men's soccer team (8-0, 1st OCAA Central Division) will face the Sheridan Bruins (3-3-2, 3rd OCAA Central Division) Saturday afternoon.
The Hawks are comfortably seated in first place in the central division of the OCAA as of current and have recently solidified their spot in the upcoming OCAA Provincial Championship tournament. A win over the Bruins will keep their confiendence high and their momentum strong. Being in first place earns Humber a bye with no elimination crossover game.
During their last encounter, the Hawks came out with a 1-0 win and three points at the blow of the final whistle. However, the Bruins fought hard for 90 minutes and generated multiple scoring opportunities but were unsuccessful in their final attempts on net. Both teams kept the game exciting for their dedicated fans as the game-winning goal was scored late in the second half at the 79th minute mark.
Kick off is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. at Sheridan's home field at their Trafalgar campus.
