MEN'S SOCCER CONTINUES TO DOMINATE WITH 5-0 WIN

NORTH YORK, ON: Hawks men's soccer (4-0, 1st OCAA Central Division) continues to dominate in the OCAA as they beat the Seneca Sting (0-3, 5th OCAA Central Division) 5-0 Saturday evening.

The Hawks started the game putting Seneca on their heels as Jordan Piccinin scored the first goal just 30 seconds after the game starting whistle was blown. The sting replied with an unsuccessful shot on target no longer than a minute later. 


Jaineil Hoilett
scored the second goal for Humber as he placed the ball top corner after a rebounded ball came to him off a corner kick. The score remained 2-0 until halftime.

The Hawks dominated second half with goalkeeper, Karman Singh, offering quick transitions and direction from the net. An own goal put Humber up 3-0 with another two goals to come. Returning power player, Marcos Nunes, was awarded a penalty kick after a tackle in Seneca's 18-yeard box and effortlessly placed the ball behind the keeper for a 4-0 lead.

Keeping momentum, Marcos Nunes scored Humber's final goal for a 5-0 win.

The Hawks play UTM Eagles (0-3, 6th OCAA Central Division) next on Tuesday September 28 at Centennial Park Stadium.
