HAWKS ENTER PLAYOFFS ON A WINNING NOTE

ETOBICOKE, ON: The Humber Hawks men's volleyball team will travel to play a sudden death crossover playoff game this coming weekend, and they will do it on the tails of a well-earned win in their last regular season game. The match, a 3-0 (25-21, 25-21, 25-19) win over the Conestoga Condors, elevated the Hawks record to 10-8 at year's end.

Outstanding performances were registered by a number of Humber players, led by Stefan Vukmanovic and his 14 offensive points, 13 via the kill. He had an amazing kill percentage of .722 on the night.

Jordan Darlington (9 points), Clayton Blanchette (8 points), Zac Cowl (8 points) all supported the Hawks cause.

"This was a big win tonight for the boys", said Hawks Head Coach Wayne Wilkins. "We have done some good things lately, and a win before the home crowd should help us when we hit the road for a shot at getting to the provincial championships."
