HAWKS LOOK TO WRAP UP FINAL GAME OF SEASON WITH WIN OVER CONESTOGA

ETOBICOKE, ON: Wednesday will be the final match of the season for the Humber Hawks men's volleyball (9-8, 6th West) team as they prepare for the OCAA playoffs.  The Hawks have locked up the sixth seed in the ultra-competitive west division and will have to go on the road to compete in a crossover game for the chance to earn a spot in the provincial tournament.

The east division standings have yet to be resolved, so the Hawks will not know who they will have to face in the crossover round until all matches have been completed.  Before they can set their focus on that match, Humber still needs to play Conestoga College (5-12, 8th West) in their final tune-up of the year.

Conestoga comes into this match after winning two of their last three matches, while the Hawks have dropped a season worst three straight.

In their last eight matchups, Humber is a perfect 8-0 against the Condors and have only dropped two sets during that span. Earlier in the season, the Hawks came away with a 3-1 win in Kitchener, as second-year middle Stefan Vukmanovic (Mississauga) recorded a season-high three service aces.  Wesley Lau, the leading scorer for the Condors, had a team-high nine points in the loss.

All Hawks home games are free to the public and also streamed live online.  If you are unable to attend the final home game of the season against Conestoga, scroll down to the bottom of the home page and click on the "WATCH NOW" link or click on the link below:
