HAWKS PLAY SENECA FOR CHANCE TO CLINCH DIVISION

ETOBICOKE, ON: The Humber women's soccer team (7-0-2, 1st OCAA Central Division) is set to wrap up their regular season against the Seneca Sting (6-0-2, 2nd OCAA Central Division) Tuesday evening.

The last time the Hawks and Sting matched up the game was scoreless, resulting in Humber's first tie of the season. Both teams were determined to win and came out hard. A missed penalty kick from the Sting kept the Hawks in the game but without any capitalization, neither team would take the three points.

Gearing up for the OCAA Provincial Tournament, the Hawks currently sit in first with 23 points, however, the Sting trail closely behind with 20 points. Tuesday's game will determine which team enters the tournament with a bye and which will play a crossover game.

This year, St. Clair College in Windsor will be hosting the women's OCAA Provincial Championship tournament from October 27-29. The gold medal winners will advance to the CCAA National Championship tournament bing held at Ahuntsic College in Quebec.

Kick off for Tuesday night is set for 6:30 p.m. at Centennial Park Stadium.

Admission is free of charge and live streaming will be available here.
