HAWKS ON ROAD FOR FIRST TIME THIS SEASON ON SUNDAY AFTERNOON

MISSISSAUGA, ON: The Humber Hawks women's soccer team, winners of their home opener on Tuesday night, will travel to Mississauga on Sunday, September 18/16 to face the University of Toronto - Mississauga Eagles.

Full Preview: By Eugenio Garro

Opening night was a success for the Humber Hawks but now the team looks to continue their winning ways on the road against the University of Toronto-Mississauga.

In the Hawks first game of the season their rookies stepped up and made the difference in a 4-nil win over George Brown. Humber can only hope forward Zoe Longsworth can find the net again after scoring two on opening night.

Last season against UTM, the Hawks swept the two game series by a combined score of 10-nil.

As for UTM this is the schools second year competing in the OCAA. The team finished at the bottom of the central division last season with a 0-8-2 record.

The team has however got off to a promising start this season holding the Niagara Knights to a 1-1 draw in their first game.

There will also be a familiar face on the UTM sideline. Sonia Rocha, a Humber graduate and former Hawk midfielder was named as an assistant coach this season for UTM. Rocha was an integral part of the women's soccer team who won multiple gold medals in outdoor along with indoor soccer.

Kick-off is set for 1 p.m. ET at UTM's North Field.
