HAWKS DOMINATE EAGLES ON WAY TO 2ND STRAIGHT WIN

ETOBICOKE, ON: Zoe Longsworth found the net twice for the second straight game and the Humber Hawks put up another six to roll over the University of Toronto Mississauga by a score of 7-1.

Last season the Hawks outscored UTM in two games by a score of 10-0 and the ladies continued the domination early into this season as well.

Along with Longsworth, rookies Rebecca Spratt and Giulia Zanardi added to their goal totals in the big win.

The score in this game reflected what happened in 90 minutes. UTM wasn't given a chance to control the ball as the Hawks poured on the high pressure from the beginning.

In the two games the Hawks have played this season, the team's ball movement has been the difference for them. Their opponents have had a hard time keeping up with the team's ability to stretch the field along with the speed they have.

With the win the Hawks now improve to 2-0 on the season and 3-0 all-time against UTM.

The team has only played two games but the Hawks are already emerging as the central division favourites. The Hawks rookies continue to find the net and despite all the changes look really comfortable together.

The Hawks now turn their sights to Tuesday night when they host Niagara College at Centennial Park stadium.

Kick off is at 4:30 p.m. ET.
