ETOBICOKE, ON: The Hawks women's soccer team (6-0-1, 1st OCAA Central Division) is set to hit the field after the long weekend against the George Brown Huskies (2-6, 5th OCAA Central Division) Wednesday evening.
Previously matched up this season, the Hawks took the Huskies in a 4-0 win. Unknowingly, that win was the just the beginning of Humber's road to victory as they have continued to dominate in their division.
Relying heavily on their rookies, the Hawks have managed to score a combined total of 20 goals in just seven games keeping them on top of the leaderboard. There are just three games left of regular season play, tomorrow being one.
A win against the Huskies will keep the Hawks in first and hopeful for a playoff position as the OCAA Provincial Championship is coming up at the end of the month.
Kick off is at 6:00 p.m. at Centennial Park Stadium.
