HAWKS LOOK TO BUILD ON QUICK START WITH MID-WEEK TILT

ETOBICOKE, ON: The Humber Hawks women's soccer team, winners of their first game on Sunday afternoon against UTM, will look to continue their winning ways as they travel to Kitchener to face the Conestoga Condors.

LAST SEASON VS CONESTOGA

  • With the divisional alignments changing this year, this will be the first time in a number of years that the two teams will face each other in regular season play.

SCOUTING CONESTOGA

  • The Condors got off to a solid start to the season, their first in the Central Division, by way of a 5-2 home win over the George Brown Huskies
  • Amy Lintack led Conestoga offensively with three goals. She was supported by way of single markers from Breanna Senfner and Paige Howard
  • Howard was also the recipient of a yellow card in the match

HAWK NOTES

  • Giulia Zanardi soared out of the gate, as she scored four goals in the first half, before heading to bench in what was a lopsided 9-0 win over UTM. Four other Hawks shared in the scoring.
  • Humber put 23 shots on goal, while UTM could only muster two
  • The Hawks are in the midst of three road games to start the season, and will not take to their home pitch until Wednesday, September 20/17
