DEFENSIVE WHIZ DOMINIKA PHILIP NAMED TOP FRESHMAN
Dominika came to the Hawks as a highly touted recruit, one that had accomplished success on many levels prior to moving onto the post-secondary ranks. She has not disappointed in her first season as a member of the Humber Hawks. She led the team to the OCAA silver medal in outdoor, a regional championship and the OCAA gold medal in the indoor season. She was a rock on the defensive side of the pitch, a true force. Acting cohesively with her teammates, they allowed only three goals in league play. She is as skilled as she is athletic, and would be able to transition from defence to offence positions on the pitch if the coaches needed an extra push.
