HAWKS BOOK TICKET TO OCAA PROVINCIAL PLAYDOWNS

KITCHENER, ON: The Humber Hawks have advanced to the 2016 OCAA Championship Tournament, which is  taking place this coming weekend in Kitchener. The Hawks opponent or game time is not available due to a couple of regular season games yet to be completed. The event will be held on Friday and Saturday, October 21 and 22 at Budd Park.

The Hawks came up big in game two against the Fanshawe Falcons on Sunday, and therefore forcing the Conestoga Condors to win two over Durham on Monday evening to book their own ticket to the provincials. Durham lent the Hawks a hand by sweeping the Condors, the first by way of a game saving double play with a runner in scoring position.

Humber finished the season with an 13-11 record, and will enter the event as the fourth seed. The Hawks would like history to repeat itself, as the fourth seed in the 2015 provincials went on to sweep their way to the OCAA crown.
