SOFTBALL LOOKS TO SPLIT SERIES

TORONTO, ON: The Humber Softball (3-7, OCAA 5th) team gets a second chance when they play the Durham Lords (7-1, OCAA 1st) in a rematch game this Sunday.

Wednesday evening the Hawks travelled to Durham field to challenge the Lords in their first matchup of the season. Both games were close and were forced into extra innings; however Humber was unable to come out with the win. Jenna Hillman drove in the only run for the Hawks in game one losing 2-1. Game two was more eventful but sent the Hawks home with a 6-5 loss.

With home field advantage Sunday, Humber will look to split the series with Durham who recently jumped from third place to first place in the OCAA rankings.

The games are at 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 24 and Wildwood Park #2 in Etobicoke.

Live streaming will be available here.
