NO REST FOR SOFTBALL TEAM AS THEY HEAD TO SENECA FOR TWO

NORTH YORK, ON: The Humber Hawks women's softball team, fresh off a plane from the CCSA Nationals in Saskatoon, will head back to the diamond this evening. Humber will travel across the city for a doubleheader against the Seneca Sting. Game times are slated for 6:00 pm and 8:00 pm, with both games taking place at Seneca's Newnham Campus.

Humber enters the game with a record of 10-8, but in a dogfight for a play-off spot. Currently, there are six teams vying for the four play-off spots. Seneca has fallen on hard times this year, and sit at the bottom of the standings with a 0-20 record. They have scored 11 runs, while giving up a league worst 269.

The Hawks boast nine players with batting averages above the coveted .300 mark, led by freshman Jenna Hillman and her .483 average. Humber has also shown some power this year, slamming four home runs. Seneca carries a team batting average of .145, but Brianna Bader is having a great year, checking in at .405.
