LEAGUE COACHES NAME DOMINGO SECOND-TEAM ALL-STAR
TORONTO, Ont – Following a fourth season in which she rewrote the Humber College record books, forward Aleena Domingo was named a second-team all-star by the league's coaches, the OCAA announced Thursday morning at their annual athletics banquet.
This marks the fourth season Domingo has been named a second-team all-star, including three straight from 2012-15. The 2017 honour marks the 11th all-star honour for the Hawks in the Ajay Sharma era.

A native of Toronto, Ontario, Domingo became the second student-athlete to score 800 career points in program history and currently sits second all-time on the career scoring list.
Along with helping Humber finish the season 18-0, Domingo ranks second on the team in points (240), rebounds (134) and steals (39). The best performance of the season for Domingo came on the road against Redeemer on Dec. 3 as she grabbed a regular season career-high 18 rebounds to go along with 13 points in a 77-56 win. Domingo finished the season with three double-doubles.
The end of the banquet marks the beginning of the 2017 OCAA Championship presented by belairdirect, which is being hosted by Seneca College. The quarter-final matchup for the Hawks will be against the St. Clair Saints and tip-off is set for 1:00pm.
